Situated on the banks of the Asvem river on the shores of the Arabian sea in Mandrem, North Goa, in India, it might well be a perfect getaway to relax and recharge.
The Mandala resort is a unique destination created by artists & designers from around the globe. It is a place where unpretentious luxury meets nature in harmony and where laid back atmosphere and serenity are a priority.
The concept of the Mandala is to provide a serene and peaceful destination in natural surroundings, where inspiration is in abundance. There are eight boutique rooms and five designer tents, all of which have been created with attention to detail and a sense of originality. The emphasis is on relaxation, de-stressing and generally feeling at peace. The word Mandala means the unity of all things in harmony within a space, so whether one chooses to participate in yoga courses, kayak down the river, relax on the veranda enjoying the view, hang in a hammock watching the eagles and kingfishers circling the lake or sampling our healthy menu in the Garden Restaurant…. As said in Hindi... Sub kuch milega! (everything is possible) The LocationThe Mandala resort is located in 5500 m² of lush coconut grove in close proximity to three bodies of water. The tidal Asvem lake is a holy site dedicated to the God, Vishnu (the protector) and lies at the southern edge of the property. The tidal lake is fed by The Asvem River which winds its way gently through the serene backwater jungle arriving on the white, sandy shores of the Arabian Sea.
